Seaspray Bowls – Large

Sale price$38.00

Seaspray Bowl – Large is a hand-formed ceramic bowl by Vida Miller, founding artist of Gray Man Gallery and a cornerstone of the Pawleys Island art community since 1980. As one of the original artists who helped establish the gallery more than four decades ago, Vida’s work continues to shape its spirit, standards, and commitment to local craftsmanship.

Inspired by the shifting colors, textures, and rhythms of the South Carolina coast, each bowl reflects her deep, intuitive understanding of clay and glaze developed over a lifetime of dedicated studio practice. Layers of ocean blues, airy aquas, and sandy neutrals flow together in soft, wave-like patterns, making every piece completely one of a kind.

Large bowls measure approximately 7" x 5" x 1.5". Finished with a food-safe glaze and fired for everyday use, these bowls offer both beauty and versatility—ideal for serving snacks, fruit, dips, or small shared dishes, as well as for display, entryway catchalls, or tabletop styling. Shaped and glazed entirely by hand, no two are ever exactly alike, adding to the character of each piece and carrying the subtle marks of an artist whose influence on Gray Man Gallery spans generations.

Thoughtfully curated in the place she helped build, every Seaspray bowl represents the legacy, resilience, and creative force that continue to define Gray Man Gallery.
