Where's Fred

Where’s Fred is a rare, museum-style installation by Lowcountry artist Laurie McIntosh, featuring nine 16x16 mixed-media panels arranged in a 3×3 grid. Unified by Laurie’s signature mark-making, layered textures, and intuitive abstraction, each tile holds its own story—yet together they create a single visual rhythm that is unmistakably hers.

This installation nods to Laurie’s beloved linocut series featuring “Flat Fred,” a well-known figure in her body of work.
