North Inlet: NYE Oysters
Celebrate a beloved Lowcountry tradition with North Inlet: New Year’s Eve Oysters, an original reduction linocut print by Georgetown artist Laurie McIntosh. This coastal oyster artwork features a basket full of oysters above the iconic North Inlet lettering—honoring South Carolina’s seafood culture, salty marsh air, and the joy of New Year’s Eve oyster roasts.
Printed in multiple colorways, each piece is created using Laurie’s signature reduction process. She carves a single block of linoleum, prints one color, carves more away, prints the next layer, and continues until the image is complete. Because each layer permanently removes part of the block, every print is a true one-of-a-kind, with rich texture and bold Lowcountry character.
Perfect for kitchens, oyster lovers, and collectors of South Carolina coastal art, this print blends tradition, craftsmanship, and local heritage in a striking graphic style.
