The image began as a hand-pulled print and was then individually hand-painted by the artist, creating a completely unique work of art. No additional copies of this version exist.

Rendered in Laurie’s distinctive style, the graceful heron stands beside a mound of oyster shells, an iconic Lowcountry pairing that captures the character of the South Carolina coast.
