Hook, Line & Piggy

Gone fishin', Piggly Wiggly style! Hook, Line & Piggy is a playful original acrylic painting by local artist Jenny Reynolds, featuring two brilliant blue saltwater game fish and a colorful fishing lure painted directly onto an authentic Piggly Wiggly grocery bag. The familiar red Piggly Wiggly mascot takes center stage, surrounded by Jenny's lively coastal imagery in a clever celebration of fishing, Southern nostalgia, and life along the South Carolina coast.

Part of Jenny's imaginative Piggly Wiggly series, this original artwork transforms an everyday grocery bag into something unexpected and distinctly Lowcountry. The electric blues of the fish contrast beautifully with the warm brown paper and vintage-inspired red logo, while the dangling fishing lure adds a fun finishing touch. Jenny's expressive brushwork brings movement and personality to the composition without losing the nostalgic charm of the original bag.

Presented in a clean, wide mat, Hook, Line & Piggy is a natural fit for a coastal cottage, beach house, fishing cabin, office, or gallery wall. It's also a particularly fun gift for anglers, boating enthusiasts, Piggly Wiggly fans, and anyone who appreciates original South Carolina art with a sense of humor.

Each painting in Jenny Reynolds' Piggly Wiggly series is an individually created original acrylic work painted directly onto a genuine Piggly Wiggly grocery bag. Because every piece is painted by hand, slight variations in color, brushwork, and details are part of its character, making each artwork uniquely its own. Available at Gray Man Gallery in Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
