Michael Rogan

Michael began painting landscapes in oil paint many years ago after graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a M.A. in Art Education in 1984. He moved to Myrtle Beach after living in New England for sixty plus years. This change has brought about a new challenge and is welcoming. He continues to paint extensively en plein air and finds the southern landscape beautiful. He focuses on shape, values, and color and believes that simple is better.
