Seahorsin’ Around

A little underwater mischief, Piggly Wiggly style! Seahorsin’ Around is a whimsical original acrylic painting by local artist Jenny Reynolds, featuring two bright pink seahorses swimming alongside the familiar red Piggly Wiggly mascot. Painted directly onto an authentic brown paper grocery bag, the playful scene comes to life with swaying green seaweed, lively blue water, tiny bubbles, and a delicate pink seashell.

Part of Jenny's imaginative Piggly Wiggly series, Seahorsin’ Around transforms an everyday Southern grocery bag into a colorful celebration of coastal life. The cheerful pink seahorses frame the iconic pig mascot, while expressive brushstrokes and vibrant colors give the composition a lighthearted, almost storybook quality. The original printed logo remains an important part of the artwork, bringing together Southern nostalgia, coastal charm, and Jenny's unmistakable sense of humor.

Presented in a clean, wide mat, this one-of-a-kind original is a delightful addition to a beach house, coastal cottage, children's room, bathroom, or gallery wall. It also makes a wonderfully unexpected gift for seahorse lovers, Piggly Wiggly fans, and anyone who appreciates playful, locally created South Carolina art.

Each painting in Jenny Reynolds' Piggly Wiggly series is an individually created original acrylic work painted directly onto a genuine Piggly Wiggly grocery bag. Because every piece is painted by hand, slight variations in color, brushwork, and details are natural, making each artwork uniquely its own. Available at Gray Man Gallery in Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
