Beneath the Blushing Sky is an original oil painting by Pawleys Island artist Jeanne O’Neal, capturing one of those fleeting Lowcountry evenings when the sky seems almost too colorful to be real. Billowing clouds sweep across brilliant blue in layers of blush pink, coral, peach, lavender, and creamy white, while the marsh stretches quietly beneath them in fresh greens and warm touches of gold.

O’Neal gives most of the composition over to the sky, allowing its scale, movement, and changing light to take center stage.
