An icon of Pawleys Island
Celebrating over 45 years as Pawleys Island’s trusted local art gallery and custom frame shop, Gray Man Gallery proudly represents artists from the Pawleys Island and Georgetown area while offering expert, boutique-style framing rooted in craftsmanship and care. As the island’s oldest art gallery, we showcase original Lowcountry art alongside thoughtful framing services for collectors, families, and artists alike. Much like the spirit of the Gray Man itself, we’re dedicated to preserving what matters most—original art, family heirlooms, meaningful moments, and the stories they hold—so they can be enjoyed for generations to come.

CUSTOM FRAMING
PRESERVE MEMORIES AND SHOWCASE ART WITH THE EXPERTISE OF OUR IN-HOUSE TEAM.
Preserve memories and showcase art with the expertise of our in-house framing team. At Gray Man Gallery, custom framing is approached with the same care and intention as the art we represent. From original artwork and family heirlooms to canvases, textiles, and treasured keepsakes, every piece is thoughtfully measured, cut, assembled, and finished on site. Our services include custom frame design, archival matting and glass, canvas stretching, stitch mounting, preservation framing, shadow boxes, glass replacement, and custom illustrations. With over 45 years of experience, we combine craftsmanship, conservation-minded materials, and a deep respect for each piece’s story—so it can be enjoyed, protected, and passed down for generations to come.

A PAWLEYS ISLAND LEGEND
The Gray Man is a benevolent ghost said to warn locals and visitors of approaching storms, offering protection from hurricanes along the coast. He’s our namesake—and a muse for the artists we represent.
